A meat-focused restaurant in an old cottage on the lakefront. The windows look onto the lake and mountains, and the space opens up further inside. The signature is a 1.2 kg Central Otago lamb shoulder, slow-roasted whole, which comfortably feeds two. Beef fillet, wagyu and Mt Cook salmon round out the list, along with a thick wine list. Some diners go back twice in one trip.
