The beer garden by Letenský zámeček at the east end of the park; 10 minutes up the steps from the north end of Čech Bridge

Cross Čech Bridge from the Old Town, climb the steps, and you reach the spot with the best view of Prague's bridges. At the railing on the edge of the bluff, five or six spans line up one behind the other down the Vltava, with the Old Town spires beyond. Where a giant Stalin statue once stood, a huge red metronome now swings, and skateboarders gather on the plaza behind it. At the east end, the beer garden sets long wooden tables under the chestnut trees, and locals drift in after work to watch the sun go down with a pint.
