Phuket itineraries
Old Town and the south in a day
Old Town lanes in the morning, Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha after lunch, Promthep Cape at sunset. It is the loop most people end up doing in Phuket, packed into one day. Save the beach for another day; today you see the island.
Two days based in Patong
Drop your bags in Patong and do the beach, the market, the show and Bangla Road on foot, then spend day two working down the west coast from Karon Viewpoint to Nai Harn. Sea and nightlife both, on a short trip.
Three days from Old Town
Sleep in an old Old Town hotel: lanes and a viewpoint on day one, a Phang Nga Bay boat trip on day two, then elephants and a waterfall in the north before waiting for your flight on Nai Yang beach beside the airport. Phuket without Patong.
