The longest queue on Rue des Rosiers, the old Jewish street of the Marais. They pack a thick pita to bursting with fresh falafel, fried aubergine, cabbage, hummus and tahini. Staff work the line taking orders and payment before you reach the counter, so it moves fast. It closes on Saturday for Shabbat and shuts early on Friday afternoon, so check the day first.
