Christophe Vasseur opened this bakery in 2002 in an old shop whose painted glass ceiling, bevelled mirrors and period woodwork are listed as a historic monument. The draws are the pistachio-chocolate 'escargot', a spiral of laminated dough, and the Pain des Amis, a big loaf cut and sold by weight. It's a fixture of bakery crawls. Closed at weekends.
