Under the Rue de Rivoli arcades opposite the Tuileries, a salon de thé open since 1903. In a Belle Époque room of gilded mouldings and murals you drink 'L'Africain', a thick hot chocolate, and eat the Mont-Blanc: meringue buried under strands of chestnut cream. It's also famous as a place Coco Chanel loved. Both are very sweet, so two people sharing one of each is about right.
