Forest park on the hill above Nice's eastern port

The whole hill above the port is a forest park. Dirt paths climb through pines and the sea keeps appearing between the trunks; from the viewpoints you see the Baie des Anges and the old-town rooftops. There are about 11 km of trails, so pick a one- or two-hour loop. Compared with the seafront it is quiet enough to hear birds.
