Halfway up Castle Hill, reached by stairs or the lift from the seafront

You hear the water before you see it on the climb up Castle Hill. The waterfall was built in 1885 and drops about 30 metres; stand close and the spray reaches your face. A terrace beside it opens to the sea and harbour, so there is nearly always someone taking photos. It sits neatly on the way to the summit viewpoint.
