One day in Milan: start at the castle, end on the cathedral roof. Everything is within walking distance, so the metro is for dinner only.

Last Supper & the Canals

Base yourself beside the Duomo. Day one heads west, from Leonardo's wall to an aperitivo on the canal; day two goes north, from the Brera gallery to the glass towers of Porta Nuova.

Two Nights, with Lake Como

Stay by Centrale: day one for the fashion streets and a Duomo sunset, day two by train to Lake Como, day three a factory-turned-gallery and lunch before the airport.
