A small bay on the edge of Baa Atoll where plankton gets funnelled in on the tides, and mantas follow in groups of dozens, sometimes hundreds. They loop with mouths wide open while you float above. Entry is with a licensed guide, snorkelling only, with a short time limit in the water. The season runs roughly May to November and peaks July to October. Whether they show up on a given day is up to the sea.
