The red-painted frontage stands out from down the street. Four generations since 1870 have cooked cocido in individual clay pots over holm-oak charcoal. It comes in two rounds: first the broth with fine noodles, then the chickpeas, meats and cabbage tipped onto your plate. One pot per person keeps most people full until dinner. The room is small; walk-ins struggle.
