Rua do Cunha is a narrow snack lane packed with jerky shops, almond-cookie bakers, egg-tart counters and pork-chop-bun stalls. Step out of it and things go quiet fast: pastel houses, a small church and Portuguese restaurants. Down the slope, five green colonial villas form the Taipa Houses–Museum, with the Cotai hotels rising across the water in front. It's a half-day of wandering and snacking.
