This Guanyin temple, begun in the 17th century, is among Macau's largest. Ceramic roof figures and carved beams are richly decorated. Incense drifts across the courtyard and chanting can be heard. The stone table in the back garden is where the 1844 Sino-American Treaty of Wanghia was signed.
