A seafront theme complex of copies from around the world: a Roman amphitheatre, Amsterdam-style gables, Tang-dynasty halls. Entry is free, so you just walk in, with Taipa and the bridges across the water. It was once packed with rides and shops, but most recent reviews describe it as quiet with many empty units. That emptiness is exactly why some go: exotic backdrops with nobody in the shot.
