Step into the cathedral-like building of striped terracotta and the whole skeleton of 'Hope', a blue whale, hangs under the arched roof. The dinosaur gallery has a moving, roaring T. rex where children stay longest. With minerals, meteorites and rooms like the earthquake simulator, adults can easily spend 3–4 hours too. Entry is free, but weekends and holidays bring a queue, so a free booking helps.
