Two 15-inch naval guns flank the forecourt, so the photos start before you are even inside. Overhead in the atrium hang a Spitfire and a V-2 rocket. Upstairs, the Holocaust Galleries (opened 2021) change the mood completely and people tend to stand in them a long time. General entry is free, so dropping in for an hour is easy.
