The tea room on the fourth floor of Fortnum & Mason's flagship, the shop that has sold tea since 1707. Queen Elizabeth II opened it in 2012, hence 'Diamond Jubilee'. Tiered stands of sandwiches, scones and cakes and a long tea list make it the most textbook British afternoon tea you'll find. It's often named the best first choice, and everyone heads downstairs afterwards for tea and biscuit tins.
