Jeju itineraries
Jeju City, no car
No rental car, just the airport's own backyard. A hill where planes drop in over your head, a bowl of pork noodles, the market arcades and a beer on the Tapdong seafront before an evening flight.
East coast and Sunrise Peak
Take the coast road slowly from Hamdeok to Seongsan, watch the sun come up from the crater rim of Ilchulbong on day two, then catch the ferry to Udo. The east side, properly.
West to south
Start on the Aewol rocks, then Geumneung sand, sunset on Saebyeol Oreum, tea fields at Osulloc, the sea under Sanbangsan, the Jungmun cliffs and the Seogwipo waterfalls. Half the island, anticlockwise.
