Opened in 1990 on the seaside slope of Jungmun Resort, this is more or less where luxury hotels on Jeju started. At 429 rooms (38 suites) it's far smaller than the Grand Hyatt and has a quiet resort feel. There's an adults-only pool and a separate family pool, and the garden path runs straight down to Jungmun beach. Staff get unusually frequent praise.
