It's close to the airport, but the colour of the water says somewhere much further south. Basalt rocks and shallows run out from the sand, so at low tide you can hop between them. Climb Seoubong, the low hill at the east end, for a view straight down the bay; in spring its slopes go yellow with rapeseed. Cafés and guesthouses back the beach, which makes it an easy first or last night.
