From the Männlichen top station to Kleine Scheidegg the path is mostly a gentle downhill, so lots of people do it in trainers. The Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau sit straight ahead the whole time, and the dirt track winds through meadows full of cowbells. Every bench along the way has someone unpacking lunch. Kleine Scheidegg is a stop on the Jungfraujoch line, so it pairs neatly with a summit day.
