Climb out of Waverley station and the first thing you see is this hotel's clock tower. It opened in 1902 as a railway hotel and now belongs to Rocco Forte. The clock is famously set a few minutes fast so people don't miss their trains, and J.K. Rowling is said to have finished the last Harry Potter book in one of its rooms.
