A hostel on the Old Town's north slope, on Plovani skalini, a lane whose name literally means steps. There are 4-, 6- and 8-bed mixed dorms plus private rooms, a shared kitchen and a terrace over the rooftops. It's one of the few cheap ways to sleep inside the walls. The trade-off: plenty of stairs, and some reviews call it a bit loud. The hostel suggests coming in through the northern Buža gate to skip the worst of the steps.
