A silver dome 180 m across floats over low white galleries set into the sea. Sunlight pours through its layered lattice and scatters like stars over the floor and the water, and visitors keep saying it's far more three-dimensional in person. The galleries run chronologically, from ancient Egyptian statues through the medieval world and the Renaissance to Rembrandt and modern art. The waterside edge under the dome became a photo spot after a K-pop idol was pictured there.
