Walk the mall until you're half lost, step outside, and the lake under Burj Khalifa throws water columns dozens of metres up in time to music. Just before each show the underwater lights flicker and a thin mist settles; the song changes every time, so two or three shows in a row don't drag. At the front rail you feel the spray and the sound; from the bridge or an upper terrace you see the whole pattern. It was shut for several months of refurbishment in 2025 and came back on 1 October that year.
