Built in 1923 under French rule, the cathedral is painted pale pink from top to bottom, hence the nickname 'the pink church'. Locals call it the Rooster Church after the weathervane on the spire. The pavement across the road is the photo spot, and there are always a few groups posing in ao dai. It's still a working church, so the inner courtyard opens only at set times.
