Copenhagen itineraries
Canals, Castles and Tivoli
Walk the waterfront from Nyhavn to the Little Mermaid, see the crown jewels at Rosenborg, take the boat, and finish under Tivoli's lights. For a first visit this order packs in the most.
Two Days Across the Harbour
Day one runs from the palace quarter over the bridge to Christiania and Reffen; day two is gardens, market and the Nørrebro side streets. Base yourself near Kongens Nytorv and everything is on foot.
Tivoli, Harbour and the North Coast
A slow one. Tivoli and the brewery on day one, the palace island and the harbour bath on day two, then a train up the coast to Louisiana and Kronborg on day three. The hotel is beside Central Station, so trains and the way home are easy.
