Around Nimmanhaemin Rd; the landmark is the junction with One Nimman and MAYA mall

If the Old City is temples and lanes, Nimman is cafés and malls. Numbered sois branch off the main road on both sides, each packed with specialty coffee bars, dessert shops and small concept stores. One Nimman, with its rows of red-brick arches, is built like a European square, and when the lights come on in the evening half the crowd is taking photos. Across the road, MAYA's rooftop looks out at the Doi Suthep ridge at sunset. Lots of visitors base themselves here, and it's an easy place to wander late.
