The Ritz-Carlton sits high in the R&F tower about 800 m north of Tianfu Square. It opened in 2013, was renovated in 2017 and has 350 rooms (Trip.com). Even the base room is 50 m² with a walk-in closet and separate tub. From the upper floors you look down on an oval stadium and the city's towers. Wenshu Monastery, Kuanzhai Alley and Chunxi Road are all short taxi rides, which suits a trip that zigzags across town.
