The north end of the city around the Ultramar terminal, where boats leave for Isla Mujeres

At the north end of the city, opposite the Hotel Zone, the dock for Isla Mujeres boats still has some fishing-port air. Stalls and small restaurants near the pier sell seafood. If you have spare time before or after the island, it is a good place for a meal. The crossing takes roughly twenty minutes, and several operators sell tickets from different counters.
