Two onion-domed towers rise over red-and-yellow brick stripes; the doors opened in 1859 and the nave seats about 3,000. The Moorish interior is all gold stencilling and a big organ. Out back stands a weeping willow forged in steel, every leaf engraved with a victim's name. The Heroes' Temple, the Raoul Wallenberg memorial park and the Jewish Museum sit in the same compound, so one ticket fills half a day.
