Berlin itineraries
Mitte in a Day
Start inside the glass dome, then walk Mitte in one line: Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island, the TV Tower. The order to pick when it's your first time and you only have a day.
A Night in Kreuzberg
Base yourself on Oranienplatz: day one is the Wall, the old airfield, kebabs and a market hall; day two crosses the river to the East Side Gallery, the Stasi Museum and the Mauerpark flea market. The rougher, more fun east side of the city.
Palaces and Museums
Stay by Friedrichstraße station: day one takes the government quarter, the Tiergarten and KaDeWe; day two Sanssouci in Potsdam and the Charlottenburg gardens; day three dinosaur bones, the Wall Memorial and the Humboldt Forum roof. Less walking, more buses and trams.
