The Wudaoying Hutong shop of a roaster that started in Beijing and now has branches in Shanghai and Suzhou. It's a small place in a grey-brick lane, good for resting while you watch hutong life through the window. The Americano is well liked, but the signature is the 'Dirty', with crushed pistachio around the rim. It makes a good half-day breather between sights.
