The flagship of an old snack chain said to date back to 1897, with Beijing's traditional treats under one roof. Pick sweets from the glass cases (pea-flour wandouhuang, the soybean-dusted rice roll ludagun, aiwowo) and collect savoury food like offal soup or sesame beef shaobing at the counter. ¥20–40 per person buys a good sampling. They also sell douzhi, fermented mung-bean juice; most reviews treat it as a one-sip dare because of the sour smell.
