A Ming temple tucked into a hutong lane, with black-tiled wooden halls that remain largely intact. Jing music is played twice a day, around 10am and 3pm, for about 15 minutes, a tradition passed down for over 570 years. It is quiet, unlike the big showcase temples, and easy to sit in for a while.
