A hostel on Gran Via opposite the University of Barcelona's main building, ten minutes' walk west of Plaça de Catalunya. There are 6- and 8-bed mixed and female-only dorms plus doubles and quads, and an outdoor pool on a timber deck out back. It's an easy walk from the airport bus. On paper it's registered as a 1-star hotel rather than a youth hostel.
