Address
Passeig de Gràcia 43; Casa Milà (no. 92) is about 10 minutes up the same avenue

From across the avenue you take it all in at once: bone-like pillars, mask-shaped balconies and a roof that glints like fish scales. Inside there is hardly a straight line; door frames, windows and ceilings curve as if they had melted, and the central stairwell shifts from pale sky-blue tiles at the bottom to deep blue at the top, so climbing it feels like swimming up towards the surface. On the roof the dragon's-back ridge and tiled chimneys are right in front of you. In 2026 the third floor, the last part of the house to be lived in, opened for the first time, alongside an exhibition pairing Gaudí with Miró and Gomis.
