A small temple sits out on a rock jutting into the sea. Batu Bolong means "hollow rock", and a wave-cut arch runs through the stone below. The beach next door is a surf break, so over the temple wall you can see people paddling out. Around sunset the rocks and sand outside fill with people finding a spot. The inner courtyard belongs to worshippers, so visitors are more comfortable watching the sea from outside.
