This stretch of harbour was rebuilt around America's Cup racing: superyachts and race boats moored in rows, restaurant and bar terraces right on the water. Cross the lifting footbridge, Wynyard Crossing, and you're in Wynyard Quarter, old port sheds and fuel silos turned into parks and eateries. Sit on the grass at Silo Park looking across to the Harbour Bridge, then wander back to the Viaduct for dinner as it gets dark.
